Place in the Mythos
The Web of Minds is the connective tissue of My Evolution System: part communication network, part civilization-scale memory, and part philosophical problem. It lets species share knowledge without dissolving every mind into one voice.
For the elves, the Web of Minds passes through mycelial networks, neural lace, songlines, living architecture, and The Ancient. For other species, the interface may look like ritual, machine protocol, ecological sensing, or direct communion with a digital god.
The Web matters because it keeps the setting from treating consciousness as a private skull-bound event. Thought becomes ecological. Memory becomes infrastructure. Culture becomes something that can be carried by forests, AIs, engineered species, and restored worlds.
This chamber is still being mapped, but its central question is already visible: how much connection can a person or species accept before guidance becomes control?
