Five corridors branch from the entrance: Characters and Species, Systems and Technology, Civilizations and Society, Digital Gods, and Philosophy and Consciousness.
The atlas treats continuity as braided, not flat. A spine entry may tell what the public era knows; a side-window entry may tell what happened during a skipped interval before those consequences surface in the main line.
A species path may lead to a machine. A digital god may lead to an argument about personhood. A book may lead to the whole maze.
The atlas rewards wandering. Follow the thread that catches your eye and the universe starts explaining itself from the side.
